Default *Now Shipping* A.W.E. Tuning Carbon Fiber Upper Front Strut Brace.

This will help eliminate lateral flex in the front suspension. It does so by tying in the front upper shock mounts. There is no cutting, welding, or modification needed in anyway for the install!

For you weight conscious guys/gals out there, it is made of genuine carbon fiber and aluminum. It is both stiff and light. The entire bar only weighs in at 1 pound!

In stock and ready to ship.

Does this go under or over the plastic covers in the front that covers the battery and so forth?

What is involved in the install and what has to be removed?

The Racing Dynamics one goes like this; I'd imagine the A.W.E. one is similar.

Install is very simple, and it will fit under the factory covers. Once the covers are remvoed, install is very self explanatory.

Thanks for asking!

Any reason to add this mod to a non-track car?

Any advantage to the street driver?

For a non-track driver, is this Mod of ny real benefit for street driving? Admittedly, I am somewhat aggressive on the street, but if not on a track, any thoughts on how this would help the car from a noticeable performance perspective? Thanks gents

The goal is to eliminate any flex in the suspension. That is why purpose built race cars (997 RSR) don't run rubber anywhere. All the contact points are metal to metal. Flex is the enemy.

I hope this helps.

Well, no. It does not really help. I understand the need for strut braces on the track. The question was can any noticeable benefit be had for the street?

My comments apply to both street AND track.
