Default Full AWE Exhaust-Emissions Testing

Has anyone emission tested their 997S with the full AWE Exhaust system? I'm planning on shipping my car to Europe and not looking for hicups...I have the full system plus APR ECU upgrade.

Bring the OEM exhaust with you or switch out to OEM and then back to AWE. I was considering doing the same thing if I move to Japan. I would contact some auto exporters and they will give you the rundown on doing this. I don't think Europe is as stringent as Japan but I would research this thoroughly before you do this.

Dave: Agree. Trying to find out emission requirements in Croatia. I've been told by the locals "no problemeno" but I need some facts. Have sent emails to the dealer in Zagreb but no response-guess I'll have to drive up (30min) and see if I can get some straight answers. As a sidelight-anybody do a California emissions test with this setup?? Thanks in advance.........Ciao,

John

John in Ca. you don't need to smog a new car now for 7 years as the emissions warranty in Ca. is 7 yrs. long. I don't think you would have a problem though in Ca. as the car is smogged on a chassis dyno under load so the cats should be up to temp, also run good gas in the car at least 93 octane. The slower burn helps in emissions.
