Default Defective leather trim?

Hi there, for those with option CNA, leather defroster trim, (or the packages that include leather defroster trim: EZB, CDG, and CMG) can you check the fit between your A pillar and the leather piece on the defroster?

I just got my car, and there's unsightly leather edge just between the gap of the dash and the A pillar base. I think it snuck thur quality control. Thanks in advance.

Default Here's picture

I noticed that there is a black tape running between all the gaps in the leather on the dash. This one is sticking up and a little furry, too.

That's probably the infamous felt tape which most every car manufactuer uses to combat squeaks and rattles. Can you push the piece of leather that's sticking out back in with a credit card or is there not enough material to push back in?

I frayed the edges will pushing. I think it's fabric, not leather.

Look for any other trim issues and go to the dealer. They'll fix or replace. Looks like someone just got lazy in QA...
