PCM MP3 Playlist
I have an '08 C4S Cab on the boat headed to Balitmore and want to get some tunes ready for the new ride. Does the PCM unit support playlists? I know it reads mp3 and windows media files, but how about a playlist (either M3U or WPL) so that the files are played in the correct order?
Thanks in advance...

If you burn the MP3 into different folders it will show in the PCM folder list. I am not sure about other software but I can only organized MP3 into either track list & artist list or track list & album list but not both by using iTunes to burn CD. One thing that really bothers me is my PCM is incapable to play song in multiple sequence of random order. It can only generate one set of random order per CD. In random mode, it play all 150 songs in the same "random" order everyday.

Yes,--of course you can pack 150 plus songs onto a CD,--when using the MP3 compression routine. Since mid-MY05 the CD player within the car (not the remote 6-stack) has the ability to play and decode MP3s which means you can really stack the deck! I routinely can pack together several CDs worth of music onto an MP3 encoded CD. When you are recording it make sure that you name the files and the subfiles to get that information from the PCM system later in playback.

Please forgive my ignorance, but my experience with making CDs is limited to making "mix tapes" from iTunes. Dan, do you know of (or could you provide) a tutorial for beginners as to how to make a 150 song CD with labels for PCM? Also, what software do you recommend? Thanks much.
