Default Schnell Quad Exhaust tips - anyone have them? Opinions?

I have a C2 Cab. No regrets. Love the car. But always preferred the dual tip look of the S.

Anyone have these tips?

The price seems reasonable at $289 and the website is offering 10% off right now. Anyone have these? Any photos on your car? What do you think?

Looks like attack of the dual exhaust tips.

Borla exhaust comes with dual tips and can be bought for around a grand.

Yes, I have seen that. Hard to imagine there have been that many wrecked 997S cars in SoCal to leave all those tips behind. But those are all stock S tips and they won't fit on a non-S car. The bore diameter is too big. But thanks anyway.

Default Now all you have to do is buy the "S" stick it in the back..

..and nobody will know if you have a C2S or C2. Wallah...saved 9k.

I have not picked up my car yet..this weekend. Are the exaust tips for the C2/C4 welded on?
Is this a DIY or do you have to have a muffler company remove the old ones?

I bought these tips for my '06 C2S and they would not fit. Schnell/Vortex claimed they would fit both the C2/4 and C2/4S. I tried all the shims and nothing ligned up correctly like my stock tips do. The tips looked pretty nice and with some extra buffing on the weld marks they would look almost as good as the Fabspeed tips.

I had to pay shipping back as they would not cover the charge and they gave me a hassel to return the tips. Once I got the RA# from them it took a threaten phone call and then a threatening letter for them to credit my card. I would not do business with these people.

..I hope they fit the C2/C4.

Hmmm, dignity? Maybe all remove all the markings the back and then I don't have to deal with
that dignity stuff...keep them guessing if its a 4 or 4$

I think they look great, I definitely plan on buying some in the near future. I'm not sure about the quality but i will be getting them powdercoated black anyways. Does anyone know if there are any cheaper options for tips?

Nope, not at all. The only tips I like are the oem that came on my C2S. I have AWE headers, cats, and mufflers and the look from the back is fantastic - the oem tips are naturally "blued" from the track.
