Question Modular Performance Wheels

Any experience with the ebay wheels from Modular Performance Wheels?

I looking to pick up some winter wheels for my 08 911 C4S Cab that coming in a couple of weeks. I have the contiwintercontact 295/30/19 & 235/35/19 tires on order. Was initally thinking of just swapping the summer tires for the winter but at a 100+ a pop to mount and balance twice a season thought a set of wheels would be a better way to go. Also have a question on the tpms... will the sensors fit in any wheels? I see tirerack has them for about 120 for a set of four.

Any guidance would be appreciated.

They do not fit in all wheels. Check with the manufacturer of the wheels.

The sensors from the tirerack you are looking at won't work with our cars. I went through this a couple of months ago. They do have the sensors you'll need but they cost about $390 for the set. If you can, find some wheels you like at tirerack, order the tires from them as well - they will mount and balance including the sensors for free with the purchase. Then you can just slap them on in your driveway.

Don't those only come in 10" wide rears? 997S stock comes with 11" wide rears and the Carrera Sports are 11.5" wide rears. They seem like a downgrade in wheel quality too.

For winter use one might want more narrow tires.
