Default C2S Wheel Change

I am about to buy a new set of wheels for my 2005 C2S - I'm keeping the lobster forks for the track and will buy some new rims for the road; Can anyone confirm that Turbo wheels or GT3 wheels (19 inch obviously) will fit a C2S - given that they have different offsets on the rear??

I've been advised by a wheel shop here that the "wide body wheels" (C4 and Turbo) will not fit but i'm sure I've seen C2's with Turbo rims?????

Any advice appreciated.

GT3 wheels will fit because the GT3 is a narrow body car. However, but the rear Turbo wheels will extend out too far, causing potential issues with the tires rubbing on the fenders.

Call wheel enhancements. I tried this with 305 tires and wouldn't drive it. Thought it was too close although I was told it would work. I have heard of people putting 15MM spacers on. The offset difference(rear)between the 2 wheels is 16MM for a C2S to a C4S, I assume the turbo wheels are the same.

The Turbo wheel option from the factory probably have the C2S offset.

As already answered, the GT3 wheels have the narrow body C2 offset - the rear wheel is 12 inches vs. stock 11 inches and has 305 instead of a 295. You shouldn't have a problem running this wheel on your car. What you don't want are the OEM TT wheels or the GT3RS wheels - they have the widebody offsets. I think TT rims are available as an option on narrowbody cars now - obviously they have a different rear offset. That may be what you saw. Call Dave or Alan at Wheel Enhancement - they'll give you great info.

The factory wide body turbo wheels fit great on my 07 C2S (w/ pirellis).

Raffi over on 6speed had Turbo wide boady wheels on his C2S and they did not stick out or look bad.

Also you can buy C2S turbo wheels for the stock offset.

BTW, the GT3 wheels are heavy as hell and the Turbo wheels are forged and much lighter.

Thanks guys - Ive gone for some stock offset 10 spoke rims with PS2's and TPMS; Impossible to get any sense from the shops or main dealers here in France (who told me that TPMS sensors were not available for second or subsequent wheel sets - happy to sell me an OEM set with sensors in though) so I've bought online from a UK shop - same price as here, even with delivery, but with added customer service (there is no French expression for this by the way!). Didn't realise that TPMS sets come with different frequencies depending on your chassis number.

Not sure about your comment on frequencies but maybe different in Europe. I have 3 complete sets of wheels (obviously only one set mounted) and all 3 have Porsche TPMS sensors installed - two sets were installed when I bought the wheels from Wheel Enhancement and at no time did anyone ask about chassis number - BTW, they all work when mounted with no problems.

I have the OEM S wheels with 305 rear (with Pilot sport cup). The fit is fine.

Hey - it's a France thing!! - not a problem with my UK guy, he says the TPMS on the new wheels will work just fine. Might fit 305's for my track wheels......
