Clear Bra? Trying to soul search this one
#46
i have it on two p cars, a 03 box s and an 06 911 club coupe, it works great, the two p cars i did not have it on were so pitted in the front that it was truly amazing
do it if you like the car and plan on keeping it.

I'm peeling it off the 1/3 of my hood - leaving it on the bumper, mirrors etc. The hood section has turned - possibly because it gets the most sun exposure? I appreciate that the previous owner had it installed, but I don't like seeing it after detailing my car now. It is distracting from the lines of the car now that it has turned a little.

Lets see, randomly placed rock chips on the entire front end, or an intentionally placed clear seam on the hood? I have had both and the seam is much better. Touch-up paint looks worse IMHO. Personally, I think the clear bra should be standard on the car.

I just washed my car, and realized that one of the best advises I have ever taken was to install Clear Bra around the arc behind the rear wheels (thanks Sam at Premier ) And of course, I had the full front 1/3 of the car wrapped (again, thanks advise from Rennlist folks ) so the arc around the front wheels are also covered.
There are so much debris that got kicked up and hit the arc behind the wheels. Without Clear Bra, I couldn't imagine how many tiny ugly chips there would be (and my car only had 5K miles on it)
In my opinion, it is a no-brainer to install Clear Bra at least full hood and bumper, plus arc around all four wheels.
With best regards,

I'd say do it. I didn't, and after 28k miles the front bumper is a rashy mess. Also picked up two large rock chips half way up the hood, so when I do it next time I'll go with the full hood.

We actually travel down to Socal every 6 weeks and our next trip down would be some time in early January. If interested in being added to our list, please contact us by email sales@premiermobilegroup.com or by phone 510-623-1308

You could try a search in the local forums or check in with your local dealer to see if they're willing to disclose who they use. It is cheaper to go direct instead of through the dealership as they are marking the prices up naturally.

Had mine done by Sam and crew. 4 cars donen and didn't plan on doing it for my Tacoma because thought the truck sat high enough. Now with 1200 miles, my front bumper is nicked to crap. Wish I had done it as well. Extremely happy with Premier's work on all of my cars.
