That was great. Porsche vengeance is sweet after Clarkson forced Hammy to "confess" that the R8 was better than his 997S.

Got to wonder who had the bigger disadvantage in driving position: a German in a RHD car or the Stig in a LHD car. Sabine seemed to be checking the gearbox a lot when shifting; the Stig didn't.

 

It seemed to me that the Stig purposely ran wide in a couple of corners, letting her pass.

 

After Clarkson trashed the GT3 I bet the producers wanted to make sure the episode didn't turn into two insurance claims.

Something seems off here. You have C4S vs R8 in different challenge, and it comes out a draw w/ Tiff and Plato. Then you take a GT3 and match it against an R8 and, again, almost dead heat around the track. Go figure? Obviously, driver has a lot to do w/ it but they had the Stig driving the GT3 on the road course. I don’t know who the female driver is – perhaps she’s a real hot shoe but she was so busy talking, it’s amazing she was able to give the GT3 such a run while the Stig was able to fully concentrate. I also find it hard to believe she was able to outbreak the GT3 as much as she did. It’s seems as if though it was not an honest run. Just my 2 cents.

 

This is the entertainment business. A very amusing show that I really enjoy watching. But I would take everything they say and do with a grain of salt or two.

Yep - he obviously gave up the inside line a couple of times to keep things interesting . . . or, the editing of the video is misleading.

Yes, I recall there was another TV episode of some sort where she drove something like a Taurus round the 'ring and thrashed someone driving a supercar of some kind.
