Rusnak pasadena/ socal dealer contacts

I bought my 2006 C4S w/ no discount at all. Not even a penny. The Sales Manager said " I have no problem selling it at sticker price" The cobalt Blue look so fine and it was an anniversary gift. We bought it full retail. At least the salesman change the yellow to clear lense for free. A Genuine Porsche Cover and two Porsche T-Shirt... Wow... Heheeheh

I know the GM at Porsche Downtown for a long time - the good one (he is back after several years, including a year or two with a complete jerk). Typically they have been more willing to deal than many SoCal dealerships. If you are serious, you might look at their inventory and see what they have. I can set you up but don't want to make the call unless you are serious (and for starters I will simply find out the truth about how low they would be willing to go).

There seems to be 2 camps.. for and against Rusnak . Well I gave them a call yesterday and sorry to say it was more the latter (sorry Rusnak buyers)... But I did have some good talks with Doug R at Carlsen (not socal I know) and Eric E at Circle. So I'll probably go with one of the 2.
Thanks again for all the help everyone.
Greg
So whats the joke?
I appreciate the offer Jim, but no need to go out of your way. Didnt see anything I wanted in their inventory, then again I didnt find what I wanted at any dealer inventory. So I'll most likely just order an 08...
Thanks

I guess personal experience can depend on who you deal with at one of these dealers, the mix of personalities involved, the difficulty of the negotiation, etc.
I was generally disappointed that buying a Porsche had many of the negative aspects of buying any car.

I paid MSRP so price had nothing to do with it. I bought 2 cars there and both experiences left me wondering why I gave them the business. As I always say, one bad experience is excusable, two bad experiences is a pattern.

I saw Apollo Creed in the Home Depot near Marina del Rey last week. He looked great and obviously takes good care of himself. Can you believe that was 31 years ago? He's almost 60.....

I worked out an internet sales deal as I'm from Northern CA. I worked with Amy Sokoloff, one of the internet sales directors and was treated very well and had a good experience when I picked up the car. I got an '07 C2S that was in dealer stock and was pleased overall.

I posted earlier on a recent sales experience with Rusnak. I found them to be a pleasure to deal with and they gave me a fair deal on a 2007 997S in early November.
I had one outstanding issue at delivery (a couple of missing items likely scavenged for other cars). I am pleased to say that the missing tool-kit and air-compressor were delived to me by Rusnak over the last couple of weeks. I worked with the internet sales team of Amy S. and Jun Q. Both were easy to deal with and both were straight shooters. I would recommend them if in SoCal.
