The Jury is still out for me on how effective Laser Jammers are. Do those that have them have success in staying out of trouble? This little town in NM has Laser or they borrow one once in awhile.

They don't go after the locals. The mayor would will find himself very expendable if that were the case.

CButler- I have been using a V1 (along w/ the upgrades) since they first came into production. About 3 months ago I purchased the mirror mount (it was for the Mini) from Joy @ countryjoycrafts.com & its been the best mount for my V1 thus far. Give her a call you will glad you did. John

Well, i hardwired the 9500i in yesterday via the overhead lights as posted on this site.
I made one small change, instead of cutting and soldering the factory wires i used the 3m connectors that allow you to tap into the lines without soldering or cutting.
Work perfectly. I used the standard suction cup mount that came with the 9500i, works great. about to take a drive up to Charlotte, so it will be a good test.

cheers

Thanks for sharing. It would be great to hear from you in a month or two to see how it's worked out. I've had the 8500 for a while now, and it's saved me at leat 10 times since I've gotten it. I recently drove a friends car over the weekend and I felt naked not having any kind of detector/jammer.

Will do KCL. First impressions are good, only one false alarm on the entire trip when we passed an overpass with a bunch of car dealers.
Picked up two cruisers in the opposite lane about 6 seconds before we saw them, the only thing i noticed were people tucking in behind me and refusing to overtake me when i slowed and moved to the right hand lane!

cheers

valid point, when I see brake lights come on in front of me for no obvious reason, I also hit the brakes.

I have the passport remote with laser warning/diffuser, so far very happy with it.
