Default Bubbles in windshield?

I've a new (1 month old) C2S. I see small bubbles in the windshield -- subtle, but noticable during daylight driving.

There are no aftermarket films (e.g.; window tints) on the glass.

Is the antenna on the front windshield applied using a "sticker"? If so, have others noticed this?

Or could it be bubbling on my contact lenses ?

This isn't entirely unusual. The windshield, like all safety glass, is a laminate of both plastic and glass layers. Sometimes a small bubble will wind up in there.

The antenna should be embedded on one of the plastic layers within the body of the windshield. It's like plastic and glass plywood.

My 997 came with the worst windshield I've ever seen. There were so many tiny bubbles in it that I could hear Don Ho singing every time I drove into bright sunlight... Seriously, it was so bad I was tempted to take it back to the dealership and request a replacement. Then, I got a small stone chip which grew into a serious crack overnight. $1000 later, a new windshield was installed by my dealer. The new one is 50% better than the original but still annoying to look through driving into the sun.

I honestly believe there is a quality control issue with the windshields, or at least a batch of them.

No bubbles in mine...if it bothers you have them switch it out.

I've got the same problem. It's like the windshield was sand blasted. I have complained to the dealer and they said to bring it in next time the factory rep is in.
