Default great 911

okay, wanted to get my newb post out of the way and saw that photos are preferred. i have not had much time to take proper photos, so this will have to do for now. i know, need the clear side markers, but man what a great 911 right out of the box. i dont know what it was about the 997 that brought me back to the mark, but it is the fist car i have purchased new that i am happier with a month later than i was the day i bought it. we tend not to sell anything and my wife is already promising the car to my 4 year old when she starts to drive (she used to promise the '71).

I just dropped my 997 off for the 20,000 mile service and like yourself, like it as much now if not more than when I took delivery. Enjoy your new car!!

Just got back from a drive in the twisties, 15k miles, 1 1/2 years, and novelty still hasn't worn off.

Congratulations!

I have NO regrets, after two years of ownership (997).

Don't let these guys tell you to get clear side markers! I think the orange ones look great, especially on a light-colored car.

Welcome aboard! There's little wonder why Porsche hit a home run with these latest 911s--over 100,000 produced and still high demand. Will be turning 19,000 miles shortly and have had the car in my possession just over 12 months. It's really hard to chose another car from the garage!

You mean it took you 18 months to get through the break in period? I would have gone nuts!

Since you are in FL and should drive it year round, I am a little shocked by this. I've put 4,200 miles on in 3 months! Start driving!!

Some people are Porsche poseurs and polishers! Others actually drive their cars!
