I'm curious of high mileage 997 owners reported mileage and any problems.
With cars out 3 years now...any owners over 100K here?

48600 miles, i bought the car april 06 new.i have had the water pump go out.was replaced by dealer.the horn,was replaced by dealer.and a metal creaking sound when letting the clucth out in 1st gear ,which i thought was somthing in the clutch,they told me it was a suspension issue..they took apart the sway bars and re greased them or somthing.got the car back on monday,no creaking sound.by thursday it started to come back.i have to leave at the dealer next wensday.

Every effort must be made to resist mileage-phobia which makes owning these cars rather pointless...

My 06 arrived new in Oct 05 with 3miles, now the P-car has approx 9,500 miles. Only issue was AC leak and repaired under warranty. KNOCK ON WOOD!

2004 997 S. 17, 000 miles, coming up to third birthday - new engine due to bad ring and scored sixth bore, new exhaust (R side), replaced clutch hydraulics, replaced interior alarm sensor, new oil separators, resealed both mirror mounts, and fix to stop dash vibrating. Total bill over $ 30.000 so far - all under warranty. Love the car but bought an extended warranty!
