i was told by my dealer that the cost was $1500 to CPO the car. But on a low milage car the dealer's cost is next to nothing to CPO it. What? an oil change and and a few check this check that. It's free money for them and a little extra security for you. You are basically paying for extra 2 years of factory warranty. But i think in the end it's worth it.
I would be careful with the 3rd party warranties and read their fine print and all there is no way it can be as a good as the factory warranty.
