997 w/Aero kit owners, do they make...
A bolt on skid plate thingee - it looks like a boomerang, the one I saw for the normal Carreras - the place I was looking said - not available for aerokit option.. It would be nice to be able to bolt on a little protection for the front air dam. Thanks.

No, don't do that. The bottom lip of the aerokit is designed to be disposable. You want it to come off easily in order to prevent more serious damage to the bumper.
I have a spare one all ready painted (that the previous owner, who is a great guy, gave me). I keep one on as a daily driver (I just shave off the whiskers with a razor blade once a week), and then I can put the "virgin" one on when I take the car to Porsche club events.
I really do think that the boomerang is a bad idea.
By contrast, the first mod to the car was the oil pan protection plate. Now that makes sense to me . . .

Just do what the rest of us do: Get the black GT3 piece for the bottom lip of the front apron. It's about $100, bolts on with 4 screws, and saves thousands on dental work because you won't grind your teeth when it scrapes.
