Default Fair price for (4) lobster fork wheels with tires (less than 5K miles on them)

Does anyone have an idea on what a fair price would be? Tires are 235/295 Pirellis and both the wheels and tires have less than 5K miles on them.

I have a set that I replaced with Champion wheels, and would like to sell, but I am not sure what to charge... Thanks for comments.

You'll need to let folks know whether they are narrow body (C2) or wide body (C4) offsets and you might check eBay to see if anyone is offering somethng comparable. I would guess $1,700 to $2,000 would be the range.

A bunch on eBay that started at $1,200 with PS2's did not sell. List them and put the reserve at $1,000.00

Every now and then I see a set of new take-off Lobsters with PS2s and TPMS. The last set went for $2k -- this is new with maybe 5-10 delivery miles. I've seen used sets as you describe go for much less... If you want them to sell, start at $1 and have no reserve -- the market will quickly tell you what they are worth

It's a couple years ago but I got $800 in trade for my lobsters when I got my Champions. There are lots on ebay. I would guess a lot of people tire of the lobsters so prices are going to be on the low side. My guess is about $1,000 would be a "fair" price if you want to sell them to someone without the hassle of selling on ebay.

Cool Champion RS98

How do you like the Champion wheels? I am trying to decide between the Champion RS 98 and the Kinesis F-110 for a C2S. Do you have any pics you can post or e-mail to me? Thanks a bunch.

Dave - While both are very nice looking wheels, I have always preferred the Kinesis F110. I think the hub is cleaner looking on the F110 as opposed to the RS 98. I am not crazy about the holes in the RS 98 hub. I also prefer the sumetrical look of the spokes on the F110 wheels, opposed to the RS 98 which has the alternating "V" and "U" shapes in the spokes. My thoughts, FWIW.

Here is a link the Wheel Enhancement which has both wheels so you can compare them.

I'm a bit surprised that the wheels AND tires would go for less than $2k. I just got a set of new PS2 tires in Jan and the tires alone cost close to $2k. I was contemplating changing out my lobsters for the 18" classics. If the price difference isn't that much I may not bother.
