Default 2006 C4S DME results-Good Car or Bad Car?

I would like some opinions regarding the following DME results:

Number of Ignitions Range 1 - 7664
"" " Range 2 - 1641
Range 3 - 308
Range 4 - 57
Range 5 - 0
Range 6 - 0

Has this car been abused? If anyone might be able to view the car for me at Pioneer Porsche in San Diego area, please let me know...I know that spending time at a car dealership is fairly low on everyones list of fun activites...unless of course you are buying your P car.

It's my understanding that the range 5 and 6 revs are what cause the damage. If this is the case the car should be fine.

I'd stay away. Maybe no obvious engine damage but clearly the owner was "drivin it like he stole it".

It seems like the car was dirven the way it was designed. However, if I need to purchase the car, no thank you.

Can someone please define the meaning of each range?

Just realized you can't read it. It says:

range 1 7300 to 7500
range 2 7501 to 7700
range 3 7701 to 7900
range 4 7901 to 8400
range 5 8401 to 9500
range 6 9501 to 11000

I assume therefore anything above range 1 must be a mechanical overrev since the rev limiter (set to 7400 rpm?) did not stop it. Arguably anything beyond a range 1 means the driver was abusing the car.
