Default Radar Defuser

Hi Guys,

I have just ordered a K40 including defuser for the 997, however I don't have a front plate fitted which I just realised is where the defuser normally sits. Ireally dont want to fit the front plate so what work around options have people come up with???

I have front and rear K40 with laser diffusers on my 2007 C4 and the front one is mounted in front of the center radiator at the base of the bumper. The K40 installer will know where to install it.

I was planning on installing it myself, does it need a special attachment? Has anyone fitted one of these themselves, how difficult was it?

Just out of curiosity, how much was the fitting cost?

Am assuming this is a LASER diffuser, as opposed to some sort of radar diffuser. If for laser then you should have a pair and they should be close to the headlights if you have no front plate. (They can place them in the top part of the grills). The headlights on the 997s are HIGHLY reflective and thus are prime targets for laser-wielding polizei...
