I'm a fan of one piece forged wheels and volks in particular.

The fronts are 18x8.5 and they weigh 18lb and the rears are 18x11 and they weigh 20lb. Volk uses the strongest forging method (not all forging is created equal). These wheels are the lightest and are strongest wheel in these sizes on the market.

Why the strongest? Because almost all other wheels are multi piece and in all multi-piece wheels, only the center section is forged, while outer part is just machined aluminum which is softer then forged aluminum.

On top of everything else, they cost 30-40% less then forgeline wheels in equivalent sizes that I was considering.

Those are stunning. Any fittiment issues? I checked a few websites - I only see 993.

I've been looking for new wheels for my 996 C4s - these look so nice on your 997.

Thanks... I think so too. And the color matches Meteor gray perfectly.

Those look great! Is this going to be your everyday wheel/tire or just track/autocross set up? From the pics I thought you were on RA-1's. How are the T888's? On the Tirerack site they only show 19's, right?
