Default Window cleaner

I became a Porsche owner a month and a half ago, a 2005 black on black 997S Cab, and I'm still experimenting with cleaners, swirl removers, polishes, waxes etc to get that perfect shine. One area I've had difficulty with is the windows, especially the windshield. I've tried Windex as well as a liquid cleaner that you apply then let dry to a haze before polishing it off. I always seem to end up with haze and marks again in no time, which drive me crazy. Have any of you found a good product for cleaning your car windows?

Thanks guys. I picked up some Stoner Invisible glass tonight so will see how it goes. I also use microfiber cloths for the car, so will polish with clean cloths that have no fabric softener in them.

I love how quickly a person can get help on this site.

Thanks again.

Stoners + microfiber. Can't be beat. You can get a 12 pack of microfiber rags at Costco or Sams for about $10.

The Stoner's is the best I have found too, but there seems to be a large disparity between the environmentally unfriendly spray can and the newer pump. The can seems to work much better. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes. I bought a case of cans and use Stoner's blue cotton towels for coarse cleanup, with a microfiber for final polish. The glass just seems to disappear.

The pump spray doesn't work nearly as well. Sorry about the enviromental issues but there's no comparison! It might be the same formulation but the foaming action of the spray can is apparently a key to the cleaning power of Stoner's...

Just MHO.

I found three-packs of Stoners at Sams (The one on Rice if you're in Houston) recently too.

Just MHO.

Just making sure it wasn't me. I threw the pump away and went back to the cans.

cans aren't environmentally unfriendly any more. They stopped using flourocarbons years ago. Propelled by some kind of inert gas.

For yearly maintenance, Autoglym is a great polish (not cleaner) for glass surfaces. Don't use it on plastic, though.
