Another Remote Key 997 Group Buy!
Everyone, I know there was a group buy last year for the Remote Key 997 which was very successful. It seems like a great mod that works on the 997, 987 and Cayman, it lists for $299 on their website. I've contacted Jessica at Wilhelmy-IT and they would support another group buy for this product. Thought I would take a shot and see if anyone else is still interested in getting one. I'm not affiliated with the company, I just want one for myself. I've copied the info from the previous group buy below. Are you in or are you in??
What we need to do is simply have people respond to this thread that they are going to order a Remote Key from Wilhelmy-IT. We start counting the numbers and what that number grow over the next two weeks. At the end of that time whatever number we have they will give us a group buy code to order the product from their website with the associated discount. Here it is:
-10% $269 for 10 or more orders
-15% $254 for 20 or more orders
-20% $239 for 30 or more orders
-25% $224 for 40 or more orders
-30% $209 for 50 or more orders - no more discount available
For those who have forgotten the features, either check the mods4cars.com website or here is a list I copied:
Fully programmable via the turn signal stalk
Beep(s) on lock and unlock
Home light on/off via key
4 second delay on front and rear trunks
windows auto-up and auto-down with key hold
doors auto lock/unlock on drive-off or key removal
side mirror lowering when car put into reverse - aids in parallel parking
I'm already in so I'll start the counting with myself at #1. If you are going to order a Remote Key please list yourself in a reply and add one the total numbers. Jessica said usually they let these run about 2 weeks before closing the group buy window so that products can be packaged for prompt shipment.

on the smart top, i think if we get enough people you would get a discount on that instead of the remote key, obviously its a very similar product
why dont you put your name in on this group buy and we'll see what they can do, more people more discount

This is already a feature... just turn the mirror adjust button to the passenger mirror

There are only a few features that I think I would use, the rest I already have. I like this feature, but why is it setup this way from the factory:
•*Passenger window auto-up fix for all cars where the window will only roll up automatically once it is past half way. Usually found on 997 Coupes
Also is there a way for the dealer to program our cars to chirp when the car is locked?

the dealer can't program the alarm to chirp, thats the main reason i want the Remote Key, the other features are just a bonus
the cayman club does indeed have a group buy ongoing, current discount is 15%, enter the coupon code "ccgb" at checkout to get it, a couple more Remote Keys/Smart Tops get sold and we'll be at 20% discount
