Would it be that hard then for them to get an F430 with F1 tranny and reverse engineer it. Their cars seem to have no trouble with paddle shift at high horsepower. The M5-M6 both have more HP than any 911 model currently produced and have paddles. They need a better argument. I expect more from Porsche.

DSG is a more sophisticated technology then the SMG (bmw) and F1 (ferrari) type gearboxes. BMW is moving to a DSG style box.
