Default help needed price c2s

Hi, this is my first post and I am about to buy my first porsche

I am contemplating between a new c2 tip and a slightly used c2s tip (5700 mi), both 2007, both similarly equipped with xenon headlights, bose high end stereo, power seats, 19 " carrera s wheels and both from the same dealer

they are asking new car MSRP for both cars (81k and 89k respectively)

what do people think would be a reasonable offer for the used c2s? it seems 89k is a little high for a car that has 6k miles on it...

is it worth xtra $$$ for the s? -- daily commuting, no tracking in southern california

thanks for the help

There are a lot of recent threads on pricing and S vs. non-S opinions. In general tips are harder to sell (threads on that too) so you should get a better discount. As for being in SoCal, prices are higher. I went out of state for my car.

Default costco discount

Costco discount is $2000 - $2500 off MSRP for new 911s, slightly more for Boxters

That's more than a dealer would give you locally but you can still do quite a bit better out of state.

Well, I finally settled on a 2006 c4s, blk on blk -- in state, but saved about $16k for the 6k miles on it...feels brand new and has 4.5 yrs warranty...

That doesn't sound like much of a discount, are these lot cars or special ordered cars? I got slightly more off for an ordered car after a bit of haggling.

And I know a few here did much better than me, I'd be careful if I were you.

Ordered in October 2006 for January 2007 delivery on C2S at 9.3% off MSRP. Just the thought of paying MSRP or anything remotely close to it for a used car with 5k miles on it is beyond my comprehension. Keep looking
