What's the consensus on the "all red lens?" You guys like 'em, or not?
I can go either way. While I love the stock look of the clear turn-signals, the all red lens on the black car is nice, too.
I wonder if the new LED tail-lights will be available for retro-fit when they debut on the '08s?

They sort of mimic the Carrera GT and their all red rear lenses, and the older Porsche 968,--same deal.
I would like to see them in person first.

The all reds are a huge improvement. With the split white/red on the 996, they blended in nicely as they split the colors even with the curve of the rear end. With the 997, they went away from the split look and went to a white inside red. With the new lines of the back end of the 997, the lines no longer line up. The engine lid, bumper lines and tail lights are no longer lined up. With the white in red tail lights, they really stand out due to the white portion not lining up with any of the back end. The all red tail lights simply make the back end look a lot more integrated. You will notice the same thing with 964s and 993s. With the 964, the backup lights are integrated into the rear reflector in red and are completely integrated. With the 993 they are white a stick out like a sore thumb.

Any idea on how much the Parts Dept. at any Porsche dealer would charge for the stock 997s white/red tail light (i.e. factory version)?
I want to compare that to the $500 or so charged by Porsche for this "all red" tail light.
