Hello All,
I'm in Dallas, but the soon-to-be-mine '05 C2S is in Houston. I need a pre-purchase inspection ASAP. Momentum Porsche did the work on the car I believe, but if anyone could tell me a good Houston area shop to get the PPI, I would be very grateful. Any info regarding particular issues on the '05 would be helpful as well. I took a rather short test drive and noticed a few things: (1) An engine drone at low highway speed. (2) Slight pull to the right. (3) Power seems a little flat in the mid to upper RPM range. (4) Odd motor-like sound emanating from the rear of the car.

Yes, but I can buff that out.

 

Dunno what's wrong with the Houston crowd, but I'll give you what little I know. I've only had warranty work done on my car, & I've had it all done at Momentum. Been reasonably happy with the service there. Here are a few places that I know have been around for years, and who advertise in the local PCA publication:
