Default Father's Day Concours, Litchfield, CT

It was a glorious day here in CT to wax your car and take it out for everyone to see, especially on Father's Day. The brunch served afterward at the Litchfield Inn was worth the price of admission. One thing about Porsche people they know how to eat. The CVR club here in Litchfield had over 200 cars present today from 356's to Cayman's. There was a beautiful black GT3 that took first place in the 911 division that was very competitive. I placed second today in this category and had a great time meeting a lot of new people tell there stories of how they purchased their first porsche. Check out the carbon fiber hand brake and center console of the GT3, very sharp. The white 356 featured, was restored by Jim Newton and his son from Automotive Associtates in Canton, CT. An absolute stunning job they did in restoring this piece of art. So take a look at the pics that I hope you enjoy and get out and join an event at your local Porsche Club. Until then happy driving.

Jay

NICE PICS! The shot of your car is insane with the reflection off of it!!

Damn, I knew I was supposed to go to this event, but I'm so worn out from working on Saturday.

Looks like everyone had a great time with sone very nice Porsches everywhere.

Glad you could make it up there Jay!!! Wish I got up there as well!

I'm way overdue to polish my car. Still have several bottles of Menzerna P085RD left which is what I use for final finish. I was too lazy to wash myself a few times and now I'm paying the price. At least the Menzerna will resolve any issues and leave a piano-black look to it. It's all I use for polishes.

Oh yea, I need to have the curb rash repaired on the wheels. I've seen what Danbury's vendor can do and it looks damn good.

Glad to hear you had a great time!! Thanks for the pics!!

Regards,
Deanski

Hey Bill I had a great time with you and your wife. In my mind I still think your 997 S aero kit should have won something. Herre is a pic of your car next to the GT3.

Bill,
That's a sweet black GT3 you got there. Is it for sale? Love the RS nose and the rear wing.

The 997 s aero kit is nice but nothing beats an authentic GT3.

Thanks Jim. It's been a long way since the rear end in December.
