Default Stupid Question from a newbee

Hi

I am moving accross to the US and going to buy a 997. The price I see quoted on the Porsche websire, does this include or exclude taxes and licience fees?

If the car is 72k what should I expect to pay in total

Those prices do not include tax license and dealer prep charges typically. The tax and license fees (and sometimes dealer charges) are dependent on where you buy it.

Depends on the state & county.

In Los Angeles, California you'll need to add 8.25% for sales tax and another $400 to $700 for vehicle registration/license.

You've got to pay to play!

You'll have to google the tax rates... in Louisiana, I had to pay state sales tax and parish sales tax (total of 6.5 percent, if I recall correctly - no too bad).
