Hi guys,
Has anyone tried to intall a 997 Turbo wing? A friend of mine is looking to install a turbo wing on his Targa 4S and I'm sourcing the parts for him. I've talked to few dealers but looks a lot of parts are required to do the install. It requires new harness, actuators, brackets, etc... and not to mention new ECU programming.
If this becomes too much of a task then another option is to install the Techart type III wing, but he really has his heart set on the original Turbo wing.
I did a search but none came up regarding this topic.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Looks like someone had succeed with little modifications. Found a topic on 6speed - search "turbo wing" on 997.
So we know that it can be done with everything functioning correctly.
BTW, how do you register to that forum? My email always gets rejected and so are my friends. I wanted to ask the guy with the wing some questions but I can't even register.
Buying a Turbo would be another option, but not everyone wants Turbo.
