Default What comes after 997?

Since before 996 was 993 and after 996 came the 997, what comes after 997?

Is there solid information confirming a 998 bodystyle?

Even if 998 comes and goes and the 999 comes out whats next? Do we go into ducati numbers and have a 1098 or similar?

For me, hopefully a Ferrari
I'm keeping my 997 forever, though!

As for the next gen Carrera...I have it on good authority that it will be front engine, V16, 23in wheels, diamond-encrusted shift **** and no brakes (you need to put it in reverse to slow down/stop). Seems mad to me, but this is what I've heard.

that was exactly the same thing in my head when i opened this thread "ferrari"
im sure i will break down and get the newer model though since they always seem to find a way to improve the car.
i dont think diamond suits a sports car though...

I just read the TopGear magazine (last month's issue?)

Hamster had a story about 997GT3, and he said there are rumors about Porsche developing a Flat-8 engine for future models.

With best regards,

Hi,
Future car is a GT-3 or a Ferrari. Then
comes the Austin Martin. Finish off with a
Bently.

For a select few who have inside details, yes. I will say nothing more.
