Default Picked up new Porsche today!

I picked my new ride today, 2007 C2S Cabriolet, Basalt Black, Tan leather, 6speed......I love it!! I will post some new picks tommorrow.

Tan = sand beige, cocoa, terracotta, natural brown??

That's an easy one.

Tan means Sand Beige, in all likelihood.

If it had been Cocoa or Terracotta or even the special order Natural Brown, he would have proudly mentioned the interior color by its proper name.

To most outsiders Sand Beige is Tan. Especially if his wife was along to pick the color and told him she likes the one with the Tan interior, and that might explain why he now refers to it as Tan.

I had a salesman once tell me that terracota was camel - the Porsche marketing guys muct have fun coming up with these names.

Maybe he doesn't want to fuss with the foofoo pretentious name of Sand Beige and just calls it what it is - tan, for crying out loud.


I forget what it was called on the 996?
