Will 18" Wheels fit on a 997 Carrera 2S?

Thanks,

18" wheels will generally fit just fine over the brakes, but proper spacing depends on the wheels' offset. What wheels in particular are you considering?

Probably the standard carrera ones (five spokes)... I have a 996 now, but according to the TSBs, 19s are the only wheels for Carrera S'. if so, that may effectivly end my 911 relationship (Unless the 998 goes back to 18s? .

Not true. Eclou on the 997 Turbo board runs standard 18's on his turbo when he's on the track. He has the big reds though, not PCCB.

18" Carrera III's will work with PCCB's on the 997, doubtful on the TT with the bigger rotor PCCB's.

Don't let the 19"-only policy preclude you from buying a Carrera S.

Just keep in mind that the base Carrera 18" wheels are only 10" and 265 in the rear, while the Carrera S 19" wheels are 11" and 295. The base Carrera 4 and Targa 4 rear 18" wheels are 11" and 295, but the offsets will cause the wheels to stick out a bit. If you want 18" and 295 on a Carrera S, you'd need to go aftermarket.
