Question Parking brake

Anyone know how to adjust the parking brake? Mine only works when it is in the last "click", and to get there, I have to use all my strength to pull the lever. Even one click down, and the car will roll on a slope. Not a big deal, since I usually park the car in gear, but occasionally, I need to step out for a moment with the engine on (e.g. while getting the mail).

Mine did the same thing. Took it to the dealer. Now works fine. This is covered by warranty.
