In the Rocky Mountain Region, we have timed runs at the end of every one of our DEs to compete for Challenge Series points. Don't all the regions do this? We also have laptimer systems in place at all of them so guys can keep track on every lap throughout the weekend.

 

That is news to me seeing how it is a Driver Education class and that is the way PCA promotes DE's and safety is the utmost importance. As soon as you turn it into a timed event then that is a race.
