May be too late, but another vote for Rodger Gay at Momentum. He is the only person I would talk to at any Porsche dealer in Houston. Really good guy, and has forgotten more about Porsches than most will ever know.

Any additional information on the North Houston site? I just moved here from Nashville, and I would like to establish contact with a local dealer. I'm going to be ordering from the factory on my next car and probably need to get the process started sooner rather than later.

I am absolutely willing to drive to Austin if Roger Beasley is that much better than the local dealers.

Thanks in advance.

The north Houston location is a brand new Porsche dealer, so there's likely not much first-hand buyer's info yet. They didn't have anything I wanted back when I was looking, but at least the experience was quite pleasant. The really good thing about the north Houston Porsche dealer is it's not Sonic owned. That alone will probably make all the difference. Good luck.

I can't help you with the N Houston dealership, but yes, Beasley was at least for me that much better. This was over a year ago, but Momentum would budge about 3% off list. West Houston would give no discount at all. Beasley gave around 9% off on a comparable car. I was shopping new 2006's as the 2007's were hitting the showrooms. It was well worth the trip to Austin for that kind of price differential, and it was nice to be treated as a valued customer.

+1 on North Olmstead. Chris and Bernie are great and gave me a fantastic deal on my 997S.

I'm in Houston but I never buy cars here. The dealers here just won't deal.
