They weighed about 20-something lbs with the tires.

Here's another clip of the Borla exhaust. Not too clear, but it should give an idea of how it sounds upon take-off

You can get the "911" badge from Eric at BumperPlugs.com. Go to the ORDER section to see the items available. Eric is a great guy and his guys do an awesome job on painted interior parts, if you wanted to so something like that too. Eric is also a Rennlist Sponsor.

Great mods - question on the HID bulb. The manual says the OEM is a D1S yet you used a D2S - what are the differences, if any? Thanks.

From what i've researched after reading your question, the difference between the two is that the D1s has a ballast attached to the bulb making it 'safer' with less static noise. However, D2s bulbs will readily fit as well because their bases are the same. Also, when replacing my bulbs, the oem bulb was in fact a d2s, not a d1s.

Dennis,

You have some good photoshop skills. When I purchased these iForged wheels, it was only the 2nd 997 to have iForged, next to iForged's own 997. At the time the Essen was not released yet, but if they were I would have strongly considered them.

Thanks I've become quite proficient in changing rims in photoshop and mainly on your car I just love it! I don't have mine yet, hopefully within a month or so when i find a killer deal on a used 997 or 997s

I've been looking at a lot of rims and iForged Essen are still my favorite rims, followed closely by Seneka's

The best color possible for a Porsche: black

Is yours jet black or metallic black btw ?

Found a very good deal on a sealgrey 997s but i'm passing on it cause i really want a black one.

Gonna have to import the iForged Essen since there's no dealer over here in Belgium
