Default Confused about PSE and Sport Chrono...

I've read through the posts and am still uncertain about the relationship between Sport Chrono and PSE. Can each be activated/inactivated independently from one another, or are the only two options sport chrono off/PSE off, sport chrono on/PSE on?

PSE - Porsche Sports Exhaust, is activiated by the sport button, not the Sport Chrono functions which are activated through the console/guage cluster. The PSE/Sport Chrono option gives you the sports exhaust and the sports suspension (PASM). In our previous C4S, we could activate Sport (located in the lower portion of the center dash), which opened the exhaust and activated sport mode in PASM. We could also at this time deactivate PASM and leave the sport exhaust open by pressing the PASM button located next to the Sport button. We could also activate PASM without activating Sport mode. I could activate Sport Chrono without any other buttons pressed. The first hard driving we did with the Sport Chrono (timing) was with the car NOT in sport mode.

Thus, all three work independently. Our local dealership just got a Turbo in with Sport and PASM, but no Sport Chrono (which many dealers said was not possible). If you find a knowledgable dealer, you can select which specific options you would like.
