Look behind or close to the area behind the batteries. There's a 2" rubber cover that you can cut/puncture to go into the cabin. From the inside view, it would underneath the steering column or above the clutch/brake pedals.

I see. Personally, unless you have some experience in this area I would just have your system installed professionally. Why risk screwing something up. Are you actually trying to install the LPP system? I have the SRX with "shifters" and had it installed from my dealer. Works great, I have beaten every attack from radar and laser so far. It does cost a little coin, but well worth it to me. The V1 seems to get high praise around here, but sounds like you want/have a system that will jam radar. Give it some time, people around here have bibles of knowledge on EVERYTHING, including detector installs. If you are that determined, someone will help you.
