Default Rock Chips on Wheels

My car now has 3k miles on it and i'm staring to notice some rock chips on the wheels. Is there anything I can do about these? Is there anyway to avoid these?

The best way to prevent these is to cover your car in saran wrap and never, ever drive it again.

Buy wheels with deep lips and a "BBS" logo on them.

Rock chips on wheels? Hadn't heard of that before...

I've got them as well on one of my stock wheels, it makes the car faster by shaving weight.

Yeah it's interesting - I have both Sport Designs (just like B's) for summer and "lobster forks" for winter. The Sport Designs aren't nearly as "proud" as the Lobsters - but they seem to pick up more road crap and are showing some marking from.... rocks, I guess.

Haven't seen this on the BMW or the Saab, but then, I don't drive them nearly as fast as I drive the 911.

I call them War wounds. Nothing you can do except don't drive it.
