Has anyone figured out a good ipod hookup (no fm modulation please). I do not need all the technical mumbo jumbo --just want to know (i) does it work (ii)how much to purchase and have installed (iii) whats it called.

Quick summary:

It works, but has a lot of bugs... It is a Dension unit - Eric the BumperPlug Guy had (has?) a group buy.

If you can put up with glitches in the display, etc., then it'll work. Personally, I think I'll got for the Cayenne SIRIUS PCM swap instead.

just like most issues here, the answer is it 'depends.' that's why you have to do your own research-- to fit the issues to your own set of circumstances. if you're suggesting that you want others here to summarize the research for you because you're too busy, i'd think again. no fora is like that. perhaps you have others summarize various financial models for you, but not here, my man.

 

I was not looking for anyone to do any "work" for me. I thought, perrhaps, that someone would have some useful insight into whether there was a device that worked. Chris from Cali seems to have been nice wnough to provide me with the answer I was looking for. Not sure why this simple question resulted in several harsh rebukes.
