The point I was making was that Teddy believed in the subtle use of diplomacy with the even more subtle threat of force -- GWB talks loudly (think wild west threats) and nothing subtle about his use of force -- not a good strategy in the long run....

In the OT Forum we had fun talking about Chamberlain and Hitler, and how it's ironic that most of the world leaders today advocate appeasement when it comes to the Islamofascist threat.

Like the sign above that fateful pavillion in Jonestown, Guyana, "Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it" the leaders of today are forgetting to learn from history.
