05 C2S Launch models - no long-term issues?
about to get into a 05 launch edition. did research and found that, while a lot of people had no issues, some members had early problems (front hood latch likely causing electronic gremilins, airbag module, rear deck latch, coolant hose, possible rms, rattles), but, after being quickly fixed by dealers, appears there's nothing recurrent to speak of. anyone have any of these issues come back or other issues pop up which could be attributed to being early-build? otherwise, it seems like these cars, first-year production and launch models, have held up pretty well. true? many tia.

I have a "launch" car...great group of options...
I've had no problems.
I have replaced the entire engine, but that was my choice!
X-51 Crate motor at a price I couldn't refuse.

Three Wheelin'
I have an early build (Bought my car in September of 2004) and had a transmission replaced at under 1000 miles due to a crunching 3-4 shift when cold. I haven't had a single problem since (Except for a leaf getting into my pollen filter and blocking air conditioning flow).

thanks guys! picking up the car tomorrow. of course, will post pics and impressions. edward, i believe your car's spent some quality time at farnbacher loles, which is pretty close to my home. i'm getting a bit worried-- temptation there's mighty strong.

What are you paying for your launch car? By the way, mine is perfect and pulls stronger than ever today.
