did a search, didn't see nuthin. was drivin today and all the interior (gauges/buttons/etc) lights went out, perfectly in sync w/ a shift at about 4200 no less–strange. now they wont go on at all. headlights etc all work. im sure it's no big deal, thought id see if this has happened to anyone else. back to the dealer a little too soon (1,600k)

Keep accurate records on these problems. Electrical can be a nightmare. I just learned the other day that one of the guys in the local region of PCA returned his 2005 Carrera S Cabriolet to the dealer after over a year of driving it for a full refund,--PCM problems from the start. Never could be resolved. He is now awaiting the MY09 cars,--has only a 996TT to drive in the meantime.

 

A portion of my front display within the center oval went out the other day.

The speed was shown, but the radio/navigation information directly under the digital speed was no longer there, and was replaced by ----------.

Once I shut the car off, the re-started, it all came back. Hmmmmm.

If it happens again, I'll start taking pictures and document with the dealer.
