Hey draxa, old buddy.
How's jolly ol' England these days.
I recently saw where London is one of the most expensive places to live on the planet. A broom closet that had been remodeled TO LIVE IN was offered at something like $300,000. No electricity, no water.
Just to make this Porsche relevant, how's your Porsche doing. Is it being taxed just to sit on the street?

Very nice color. I love Lapis also. I had an Ocean Blue Boxster and it always felt like the color set it apart a bit. I like the console painted and I think those wheels are growing on me. The AERO kit is sharp.

Nice job for 25. At 25 I had a Ford Temp for my daily driver ......... (and a 7 year old SC Cab ) for the w/e's.

It's drizzling, Jim, about 6C.
The car is great. I get (road) taxed about $300/year and that'll rise by about $100 next year. Not too bad. But then don't forget a C2S cost (basic) the equivalent of $120,000 here! Also, gasoline costs $1-70/litre. That's a whole lotta tax......

I actually live in a broom-closet. But I'm smiling today; fly to Rome tomorrow for four days r&r. Never been there before so looking forward to it.

Nice to hear from you Jim.

Also, gasoline costs $1-70/litre.

A litre's about a quart, 4 quarts per gallon....let's see, 2 times, um, carry the one....that's $6.80 per gallon! 14 gallon fill-up comes to...$95.20!! Of course, doesn't matter what you're driving, gas still costs you the same, but Jeeeeez. I feel sorry for you.

DOn't think the lip will mount to a non-aero bumper.

Clear film works great, no UV protection so paint stays same as other non-protected areas. Yes, you'll see a faint line if 1/2 hood is done. With wax, it gets more pronunced if the seam was not covered when waxing/sealing your finish. Bottom line, if you really like the finish, get the film. GO and look at several films as well.

Regards,
Deanski
