meaker - I've noticed pictures of your car previously on the forum and obviously I'm a big fan, our cars are very similar. I never noticed that you also live in Charlotte, that's cool, I don't think that I've ever seen your car around, you must not live in the uptown area?
I hope to put a few hours of good driving on it this weekend, it should be great outside. I haven't even told any of my friends that I got it, I was keeping it a secret, so I'll have to finally show it to some people.

At 25 I was still in school driving a pick up I bought used. I got my first Porsche at 43. Congrats on the new ride. The car looks great. I love the aero kit.

Could start a new thread here--what was the worst piece of junk you were driving at 25. At 25, mine was a 3rd hand Triumph Spitfire. Paid $1800 for it. Was almost finished school. If I remember correctly, Consumer Report rated it the most dangerous car on the road at the time. I'd get out of it smelling like gas.

Aerokit really nice addition, but as you have discovered, clearing dips can be a problem--on my black car so far not much noticeable damage. Trying to drive over slightly crosswise doesn't usually help--just scrapes on the front sides rather than front center.
