Default Conversion to paddle shift?

Has anyone tried to construct a “paddle shift” type to replace the current tip ***** on the steering wheel? I don’t mean to convert the gear system, only the shift *****? Or is anyone offering such conversion?

I think while the old style tiptronic has larger buttons you can shift with the palm of your hand, the new (997) buttons are smaller and hence requires more effort to change during for example track use.

They're pretty much close to the same size- it has to do where you place your thumbs... And no, there's no conversion that I know of.

Why- are you looking at getting a tiptronic?
