Default Need Recommend Mobile Car Wash in Orange County?

I am looking for a good car wash service as i have seen other car wash services scrtach the paint finish after the wash.

Does anyone have anyone in Orange County area that has had good experience with a car wash service that is mobile?

Thanks in advance.

BTW i did do a search and could not find anything.

How about washing it yourself? OCBen has some great tips on washing.

Two neighbors down the street (Newport) have their cars done by the same mobile service each week. I was planning on getting the name of the service for you as they come by every Tuesday AM, but I just missed them today. I think it's A-Z Auto detailing, but not 100% sure.

I can't vouch for the quality other than to say one neighbor has has a P-car and Gallardo and the other a 5 Series and Cadillac Escalade (black)....FWIW. Let me know if you still need and I'll try and catch the name and # next week.

Try some of this stuff and do it yourself. Takes about 20-30 mins and you're done and on your way

John,

I have used them. They will put mirco scratches on your car.

I do not recommend them unless your not very picky.

Yeah, I can imagine. I see these guys washing away and even though they're dealing with some nice cars, they don't inspire confidence.

I'm a do it yourself guy, but since you were asking they were the only one that came to mind. Sorry I couldn't help.

I know what you mean. But recently I realized that spending a little time touching the car and running my hands along her body is oh so therapeutic... Great way to bond with your car. I really try to make the time...

I hate washing my Bimmer and would pay someone $50 to wash my wife's SUV. But the Porsche is such a joy particularly running your hands over the rear wheel fenders.

I make the time every other week. It is my meditation, quiet and alone time. I am not obsessed about getting every dirt or avoid the micro scatches. Just find it therapeutic and love looking at a clean shinny Porsche.

Darn! I need to learn from you. It still takes me almost two hours, and that's down from three hours a year ago. I wonder if I'm the slowest. Maybe I should start a poll on this.
