Default Cold Start Issues normal?

I tried starting my engine today and the engine would not start until 5 attempts.

My 07 911 has 120 miles and i could not believe this happend already.

Is this going to get better or worse? Should I have reason to be worried?

Well, I'd be a bit worried.

Can't be normal. I have not experienced difficulty starting my '07 997S. I would take it in to the dealer.

how are you starting it? ie are you pressing on the accelerator? ordinarily it fires right up, could be debris in gas line, water etc. dealer is best bet at this point

Absolutely NOT within normal limits. Take the car in and have it scanned even it it seems to be running properly once started.

Mine started all winter in below freezing Chicago weather. Shouldn't be an issue.

Yep, mine started at -15 F without a single glitch - every time. I can't say the same for my BMW...

You're not touching the gas pedal, are you?

It happened after i got the car detailed and washed. It cranked 5 times and engine did not engage.

It did not do this anymore though and seems now to start normally? Should i still be worried??

I also did not depress the gas pedal. Yes i have floor mats.

floor mat under the clutch pedal will do that, if the signal from the clutch switch is interupted the car goes into flood protect and shuts off the injectors for about a minute

Hi,
Maybe the detailers got your air filter too wet.
