funny you should say that .I was thinking the same thing about the PS-2 only I can say they don't suck but they wear to dam fast and are a bit noisy compared to my present tires Birdgestones.Oh yeah PS-2 are expensive also.On 2nd thoughts they do suck.

Had both the Pirellis and PS2. Changed to the PS2 because of noise and grip in wet. The PS2 looks to be more quiet and superior in wet. Haven't tracked the PS2 yet so I don't know the situation in dry.

About the wear I don't know yet because I have driven the PS2 only 2000 km yet but tread depth don't give me the impression they will last any longer. The fronts by the way looks brand new.

Anyway both brands looks to have much less tread on the rears than the front and I guess you replace the rears at least twice before you replace the fronts.

Dave, the Pirellis in stock sizes are fine; I wouldn't bother replacing them until they wear out. However, the guys at Wheel Enhancement tell me that replacement tires can be hard to come by, and that build quality of the Pirellis is inferior...they can be hard to balance. Based on that I'll replace mine with PS2s when the time comes.
