Sorry guys for no respond I was away all day.It is 3:00 am on the east coast and I just walked in the door.
My car is a 2005 cab non s. i got over 30,000 miles on it. thanks to everyone for all the input , I Any other suggestion would be appreciated, I'm going to look into the ones I have .PS. Ben I put you down as the person that referred me to Autopia,on their questioner.

no problem in the front just the both rear and nearly identical. I got to have my drivers door repainted some jealous a----hole keyed it , I just called my body guy and told him he had to do the wheel wells also

This has more to do with sticky rubber than defective paint. Soft, ultra highperformance tires pick up rocks and debris and hurl the bits up against the fender lip. The wrap-under fender lip is also positioned in a very vulnerable location. The first time I ran slicks on a car at the track, I didn't tape the fenders and they looked like that after 1 day... Thankfully, it was a beater Mazda.

A respray and clear protective film will make you good as new again.

Autoanything.com claims to have mud flaps for the 997. I have no personal info on them though.
